Fast Retailing Announces Donation Recipients for Relief Efforts Following the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake

Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and concern caused to customers during the closure of stores impacted by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake. We sincerely hope that everyone affected by the disaster and enduring these difficult and uncertain times will be able to return to a peaceful and normal life as soon as possible. Fast Retailing has finalized the recipients and primary uses of the approximately JPY 100 million in donations the company previously announced to support communities affected by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake.
Since immediately after the disaster, the company has provided emergency assistance to the affected areas, including the donation of approximately 20,000 UNIQLO clothing items. In determining the recipients of this latest donation, Fast Retailing carefully considered local needs and the activities of relief organizations, placing particular emphasis on initiatives that support the recovery and rebuilding of the lives of those affected, as well as programs that benefit children.
The donations will help provide essential household appliances needed to return to normal daily life, improve conditions in evacuation shelters, and support efforts to create safe and supportive environments where children can spend their time with peace of mind.
The donation recipients, donation amounts, and intended uses are as follows:
