Fast Retailing Announces Emergency Support for Communities Affected by Flooding in Nepal and China

Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. extends its deepest sympathies to all those affected by the floods and landslides that occurred near the border between Nepal and China. The company also expresses its sincere respect for those engaged in rescue and relief efforts and hopes for the safety of everyone affected and the earliest possible recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas. The Fast Retailing Group will provide emergency support to people in the affected areas.
The Fast Retailing Group will donate a total of JPY 210 million to support emergency relief efforts for those affected by the disaster and to support the recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas. Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. will donate JPY 100 million, and UNIQLO China will donate RMB 5 million (approximately JPY 110 million). The Group also plans to promptly donate clothing after confirming local needs.
Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. will make its donation to Peace Winds Japan and Save the Children Japan. The funds are expected to be used to help restore damaged homes and local infrastructure, provide essential supplies for evacuees, and support child protection and education in Nepal. For relief efforts in China, UNIQLO China is currently considering the recipient organizations and details of its support.
The Fast Retailing Group will continue to provide support based on the local needs and circumstances of the affected areas.
