Fast Retailing to Donate Additional Aid to Support Relief Efforts for the Great East Japan Earthquake

Fast Retailing Group has finalized plans to donate additional relief aid to help individuals affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. The entire group and all of its employees remain committed to doing their utmost to help with relief efforts.

Donation of additional resources

From Saturday, September 17, Fast Retailing will begin sending another 80,000 UNIQLO products valued at approximately 120 million yen, to earthquake survivors in Iwate, Fukushima, and Miyagi prefectures. These products will include warm winter clothing, such as the Ultra Light Down, knitwear, and everyday essentials like the HEATTECH and other underwear from the fall/winter collection.

In addition, 50 Fast Retailing volunteers are also scheduled to travel to the affected areas to distribute these relief items.
