UNIQLO Amu Plaza Kumamoto Store to Reopen on August 3

UNIQLO offers its deepest sympathies to everyone affected by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake. The UNIQLO Amu Plaza Kumamoto store, which had been temporarily closed due to the earthquake, will resume operations at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, following the completion of safety inspections and preparations for reopening.

UNIQLO sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and concern caused to customers during the closure. As the company resumes operations, it will continue to prioritize the safety of customers and employees and strive to provide a safe and comfortable shopping environment.

In response to the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake, UNIQLO and the Fast Retailing Group have been carrying out support activities, including clothing donations and financial relief for affected communities. The Group has also worked toward reopening stores* to help support the daily lives of local residents. Going forward, the Fast Retailing Group will continue to provide assistance based on the evolving needs and circumstances of the affected areas.

*GU Amu Plaza Kumamoto Store and PLST Amu Plaza Kumamoto Store, which are also located in Amu Plaza Kumamoto, are scheduled to resume operations on August 3 as well.
