UNIQLO today announces the worldwide release of new designs for its ongoing PEACE FOR ALL charity T-shirt project, available from Thursday, September 17.
On his T-shirt creation, Kengo Kuma expresses his philosophy of architecture as something lightly designed, a "collection of grains" rather than a heavy, large mass. The illustration of a bouquet, hand-drawn by Kuma, is accompanied by the words "Particle for Peace." In the bouquet, Kuma overlays the image of peace, showing that it is precisely because each person is as different as a particle, that we can care for each other and support one another with ease.
Sou Fujimoto, when he was appointed as the venue design producer for Expo 2025, the World Expo held in Osaka, Japan, adopted the motif from a single aerial photo he took of the vacant area of Yumeshima, the planned Expo site. The Grand Ring he designed embodied the idea that while respecting diversity, there is significance in becoming one, rather than everything being scattered. His design, with a scene of people from all over the world gathered in the same place, looking up at a single sky above the ring and sharing the view, is filled with a wish for peace.
UNIQLO, together with people around the world, will continue to expand this initiative in a desire for a future in which all people can live safely, and a hope for world peace.

■Collaborator's Profile
Sou Fujimoto
Born in 1971 in Hokkaido, Japan. After graduating from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, he established Sou Fujimoto Architects in 2000. He served as the Site Design Producer for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, where he was responsible for the proposal and design of the Grand Ring. His major works include the House of Music, Hungary (2021) in Budapest, Shiroiya Hotel (2020), L'Arbre Blanc (2019), the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2013 (2013) in London, House NA (2011), the Musashino Art University Museum & Library (2010), and House N (2008), among others.
Kengo Kuma
Kengo Kuma was born in 1954. He established Kengo Kuma & Associates (KKAA) in 1990. He is currently a University Professor and Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo and a member of the Japan Art Academy after teaching at Keio University and the University of Tokyo. KKAA projects are currently underway in more than 50 countries. Kengo Kuma proposes architecture that opens up new relationships between nature, technology, and human beings.
About PEACE FOR ALL
The PEACE FOR ALL project, launched in June 2022, features T-shirts with designs expressing a wish for peace, provided voluntarily by collaborators with close ties to UNIQLO who share the goal of "taking action with a desire for world peace." To date, a total of 54 individuals and organizations have participated in the PEACE FOR ALL project, with more than 11.1 million T-shirts sold, contributing donations from sales of US$20.6 million* (as of the end of June 2026). Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., the company that operates UNIQLO, donates the entire profit from sales (equivalent to 20% of the unit list price in Japan) to support the activities of partner organizations around the world aiding people affected by poverty, discrimination, violence, conflict and war.
