UNIQLO's PEACE FOR ALL Charity T-Shirt Project Provides US$4.77 Million to Date for Global Peace Activities - Donations support initiatives including preventing childhood marriage, delivering food to vulnerable children, and providing shelter to refugees

To coincide with International Day of Peace on Thursday, September 21, global apparel retailer UNIQLO today announces that through its PEACE FOR ALL charity T-shirt project it has to date donated over US$4.77 million* to three international aid organizations working on global peace activities.
Since the commencement of the project in June 2022, 100% of profits from the sales of PEACE FOR ALL T-shirts (equivalent to 20% of the selling price) have been donated evenly to UNHCR (the UN refugee agency), Save the Children, and Plan International through their respective representatives in Japan. Worldwide, over 2.3 million PEACE FOR ALL T-shirts have so far been sold, with shirts featuring designs donated by prominent figures including tennis legend Roger Federer, novelist Haruki Murakami, and artist KAWS.
Donations from the PEACE FOR ALL project have so far been used by partner organizations towards projects including helping to prevent early marriage in Vietnam, delivering food supplies and learning spaces for children affected by conflicts and natural disasters, and providing shelter and protection to forcibly displaced men, women, and children.

One of the great things about PEACE FOR ALL is that anyone can show their support for peace and people forced to flee by wearing one of these T-shirts. With global displacement numbers surpassing 110 million people earlier this year - a figure nearly comparable to Japan's population - this support is needed now more than ever before. With funding from PEACE FOR ALL, UNHCR has been able to provide lifesaving humanitarian assistance such as shelter and protection to forcibly displaced men, women, and children. With your help, we were able to support children around the world - including in Ukraine, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Bangladesh and Mozambique - with cash assistance, food supplies, learning spaces, and psychosocial support. Thanks to the funds provided through PEACE FOR ALL, we're now implementing the "Preventing Early Marriage" project in Vietnam so that ethnic minority girls living in Ha Giang Province, far from the capital Hanoi, can receive a quality education in a safe and secure environment. The project improves school and sanitary facilities and provides educational supplies. At the same time, we also hold awareness-raising and capacity-building activities for ethnic minority children, youth, teachers, and parents, in order to build a system that will enable the entire community to work toward the eradication of child marriage. About PEACE FOR ALL
UNIQLO launched the PEACE FOR ALL project on June 17, 2022, and to date has featured designs from 29 collaborators. As of the end of August 2023, a total of 2.3 million T-shirts have been sold, raising \697,281,900. UNIQLO parent company Fast Retailing contributes 100% of profits from the sale of these T-shirts (equivalent to 20% of the selling price) to three international aid organizations (UNHCR, Save the Children, Plan International Inc.) that aid people impacted by poverty, discrimination, violence, and conflict.
