UNIQLO is pleased to announce the launch of its eighth global flagship store at Myeongdong Central in Seoul, South Korea on November 11. The new store will offer all the latest UNIQLO clothing in a sales area spanning approximately 4,000 square meters of floor space. UNIQLO has steadily risen in popularity in South Korea since it launched its first store in the country in September 2005. Now, the new Myeongdong Central Store is set to share the latest UNIQLO news with people in South Korea, Asia and the rest of the world.
UNIQLO is opening its eighth global flagship store in Seoul, South Korea on November 11, 2011. The store joins UNIQLO's other global flagship locations in New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Osaka and Taipei. The global flagship stores will act as showcases for the best that UNIQLO has to offer.
The new UNIQLO Myeongdong Central Store's sales floor spans approximately 4,000 square meters. The store will match UNIQLO's greatest products with the best service and the highest possible standards, creatively presented with outstanding visual merchandising.
UNIQLO has sought to open a global flagship store in central Seoul ever since the 2005 launch of its first store in South Korea. The new Seoul global flagship store will provide UNIQLO with a stepping stone into the broader Asian market, in line with the company's aim to move from being the number one brand in Asia to the number one brand in the world.
UNIQLO intends to become a truly global brand, and it plans to accomplish this goal by opening global flagship stores in major cities throughout the world, so more people can enjoy the UNIQLO experience.
