We are pleased to announce that the UNIQLO Shinjuku Takashimaya Store will open for business at 10:00 a.m. on April 23. The store will be located on the twelfth floor of the well-known landmark that is the Takashimaya Times Square, accessible from the South Exit of Shinjuku Station. With a store area of approximately 1,650 square meters, the UNIQLO Shinjuku Takashimaya Store is the largest UNIQLO store located in a department store or shopping center and will be a key driver as UNIQLO continues its strategy of aggressively opening more large-format stores.

UNIQLO continues to expand globally with its fourth global flagship store to open this spring in Shanghai. The launch of the UNIQLO Shinjuku Takashimaya Store in the Takashimaya Times Square building, a popular shopping destination and well-known Shinjuku landmark that is accessible from the south exit of the nation’s busiest terminal station, Shinjuku Station, is UNIQLO's newest megastore.

With a sales area of nearly 1,650 square meters, the UNIQLO Shinjuku Takashimaya Store, located on the twelfth floor of the Takashimaya Times Square building, boasts the largest sales area of any department store or shopping center UNIQLO store.
The store features a clearly delineated layout that separates men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, employing different zones, including Relax Comfort, Sports and Cool Biz zones, that makes finding products easy. This approach allows customers to understand the store organization at a glance and easily and fully enjoy products being promoted on a seasonal basis. In addition, the glass display cases in store create an ambiance that evokes the vibe of UNIQLO today. Going forward, UNIQLO will continue to aggressively expand its network of stores by opening large-format stores in major urban areas, such as central Tokyo.
■ Commemorative launch sale to feature items unique to UNIQLO Shinjuku Takashimaya Store
To celebrate the April 23 store opening, for three days an array of our most popular items, including surf polo and dry pique polo shirts, SILKY DRY and SARAFINE innerwear, as well as bra tops and UT products, will be available at special prices. In addition, specially designed one-piece dresses available only at the Shinjuku Takashimaya store will also be on sale at bargain prices during the commemorative launch sale.
