The low-priced g.u. clothing brand, part of the FAST RETAILING group, is expanding its feature ¥990 series even further this fall/winter season, offering customers reassuring quality and seasonal fashion at amazing low prices.
The fall/winter ¥990 series consists of over 200 garment types making up approximately one third of the entire g.u. garment range. That is five times the variation on offer this time last year. Thanks to the luscious ¥990 series with its wealth of trendy colors and patterns, customers can freely enjoy fashion every day this autumn/winter season without worrying about the price.
■ g.u. - a cut below the rest with 5 times the variation
The g.u. concept is the freedom (“jiyu”) to enjoy fashion without worrying about the price. And now we have further expanded the ¥990 series on the spring/summer season. The ¥990 series this autumn/winter will consists of 200 items, roughly five times that on offer this time last year. Indeed, one third of all g.u. products will be sold at a cost of ¥990. g.u. will continue to offer customers reassuring quality and seasonal fashion at amazing low prices.
■ 200 trendy garment types in the ¥990 series
Of the 200 g.u. ¥990 series items, our ¥990 bottoms will be a key feature. Since their launch in spring 2009, our ¥990 jeans have sold extremely well, and we will be offering a new product - color jeans – in 21 colors this time around. In addition we will be offering our trendy pegtop pants and tiered skirts, bringing the ¥990 bottoms range alone to 29 items in 100 colors and designs. As for tops, we will be offering 12 types of ¥990 shirts in 100 colors, including the flannel shirt to equal any American casual taste item. We will have 9 types of ¥990 knitwear in 80 colors, handy items for that layered autumn/winter look. Our regular winter items will also feature ¥990 fleece in five styles and 40 colors. With so many seasonal fashion coordinate items on offer, mixing and matching will be more fun than ever.

With our bumper ¥990 series, you can enjoy fashionable coordinated outfits every day this autumn/winter season for less than ¥5,000 total. For instance, build an outfit around one of our autumn/winter feature outerwear garments, the fake fur blouson (¥1,900), by adding a checked tunic (¥1,900) and color skinny pants (¥990) costing a total of ¥4,970 - an entire coordinated outfit for the regular price of one outer garment.
