FAST RETAILING CO., LTD.
to Japanese page

Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. offers its deepest condolences for the many lives lost as a result of the ongoing torrential rains and flooding in Japan's southwestern region of Kyushu and other areas, and sympathies for all of those affected by the disaster.

Fast Retailing has donated approximately 8,000 items of undergarments (for men, women, children and babies) to the city of Hitoyoshi in Kumamoto Prefecture as additional relief supplies for people staying in shelters. This assistance was provided following a request made to the local UNIQLO store from the city's social welfare council and other officials through a company in Hitoyoshi. The items were delivered today to the city's relief supplies collection center.

Going forward, Fast Retailing, in cooperation with the national and local governments, will continue to provide clothing assistance based on the needs of people in the disaster areas. Through coordination between communities and stores, Fast Retailing will deliver as quickly as possible the clothing needed by disaster victims.
