Shenzhen Artigas Clothing & Leatherware, a factory of Fast Retailing Group supplier Lever Style, experienced a strike in June 2015. At the end of July that year, Fast Retailing confirmed that a settlement had been reached between Lever Style and its employees. In October 2017, Fast Retailing conducted a regular audit that confirmed that working conditions remained appropriate at Lever Shirt (Shenzhen) Limited, to which Shenzhen Artigas Clothing & Leatherware operations were transferred.

The June 2016 strike occurred because some employees were dissatisfied with Lever Style's decision to transfer Shenzhen Artigas Clothing & Leatherware operations to Lever Shirt (Shenzhen) Limited, located less than five kilometers away, within the same administrative district. Those workers demanded terminations of employment contracts and accompanying retirement payments. From the outset of the strike, Fast Retailing requested that Lever Style respect human and labor rights and reach an amicable settlement. As of the end of July 2015, Lever Style informed Fast Retailing that it would retain all employees willing to work at the new location and that it agreed to pay some compensation to those wanting to end their employment, an action exceeding legal requirements.
