UNIQLO and Seven-Eleven Japan today jointly announce the launch of a service that enables UNIQLO's online store (https://www.uniqlo.com/jp/) customers to pick up merchandise from Seven-Eleven stores in Japan.

The new service will start on February 16 and will be available at around 5,700 Seven-Eleven stores in Tokyo and in Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba prefectures. The service will gradually roll out to other Seven-Eleven stores elsewhere in Japan.

Most of these convenience stores operate around the clock, which should greatly benefit UNIQLO's online customers by enabling them to pick up merchandise either near the office or home, so they do not have to wait at home for deliveries.

The service will not charge customers a fee to pick up merchandise from the convenience store.
