Global apparel retailer UNIQLO today announces the reopening of its global flagship store UNIQLO SHANGHAI at a new location on Huaihai Middle Road, Shanghai, one of China's premier fashion districts where global brands and the latest cultural trends converge. The revamped store will open on Friday, October 30.
Shanghai, an international metropolis emblematic of China, was home to the first UNIQLO store in the market. The revitalized UNIQLO SHANGHAI will welcome customers from around the world with a modern sales floor, the latest selection of on-trend items, and superlative service. In addition to showcasing the value of LifeWear, the new UNIQLO SHANGHAI will serve as a global flagship store that conveys the appeal of Shanghai to the world.
In addition to UNIQLO SHANGHAI, UNIQLO plans to revitalize several stores in Shanghai in 2026. Through sustained, proactive investment in China--including opening regional flagship stores and large stores rooted in local culture and by renovating existing locations--UNIQLO aims to offer an enhanced shopping experience.
