Under their unique partnership, UNIQLO and the Los Angeles Dodgers launched a suite of initiatives this week to support local students, families, young baseball players and fans.

UNIQLO and the Los Angeles Dodgers have brought to life a series of social impact and fan events this week at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium. Through its historic partnership with the Dodgers, UNIQLO is providing new and unique opportunities for fans, communities and the next generation, supporting people to connect and grow through the power of baseball and the power of clothing.

Koji Yanai, Group Senior Executive Officer at Fast Retailing, said: "It was a great honor to launch key initiatives this week at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium, alongside the Los Angeles Dodgers. Through our LifeWear philosophy, UNIQLO aims to make life better for our customers everywhere and to contribute meaningfully to society. With the tremendous support of the local community and Dodgers fans, it has been a week of connection, learning, and inspiration. We are so excited to partner with the Dodgers and look forward to continuing making a positive impact together into the future."

The week's events included: UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium Academy, UNIQLO x Dodgers Baseball Exchange, The Heart of LifeWear with the Dodgers, and UNIQLO LifeWear Day at Dodger Stadium.

UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium Academy (Thursday)

Thursday, August 20, the inaugural UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium Academy class welcomed 42 middle school students from the Los Angeles area (30) and Japan (12). Over a half-day immersive education program, students toured the stadium's inner workings, trophy halls and player areas, learning the history of baseball and the Dodgers, with emphasis on the impact and legacy of Jackie Robinson. Students also learned about baseball-related careers-such as field management, media and marketing-and pathways toward these. Sustainability Manager for UNIQLO USA, Nelly Born, introduced students to themes of sustainability, environmental stewardship, and community engagement, teaching them how to have a positive impact through their own actions each day. Thursday's launch was the first of many such events planned annually. UNIQLO and the Dodgers plan to support 10,000 students over five years through the program.

UNIQLO x Dodgers Baseball Exchange (Friday)

Friday, August 21, the UNIQLO x Dodgers Baseball Exchange brought together promising young baseball players from Japan and Los Angeles for a once-in-a-lifetime experience centered on a shared love of baseball. Hosted at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium, 30 ambitious young players (18 L.A,, 12 Japan) were truly "Dodgers for a day." Each benefited from wisdom and coaching shared directly by Dodgers legend Orel Hershiser, former MLB pitcher Hisanori Takahashi, plus Dodgers coaches Dino Ebel and Pete Montero. Participants enjoyed lunch with current Dodgers Jack Dreyer and Dalton Rushing, discussing how to take their games to the next level, and to build successful careers through dedication and consistency. A key aim of the UNIQLO x Dodgers Baseball Exchange is to combine elite baseball training with opportunities for cross-cultural engagement to promote and grow the sport of baseball globally.

The Heart of LifeWear with The Dodgers (Friday)

Also on August 21, UNIQLO and the Los Angeles Dodgers hosted a special The Heart of LifeWear event at Dodger Stadium to support local students and their families. The experience welcomed high school students from the Sports Industry Academy at John Muir High School for an exclusive game-day program featuring a UNIQLO × Dodgers clothing donation package and The Heart of LifeWear activity, before meeting Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts, viewing player batting practice up close and attending the evening game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. John Muir High School is in Pasadena-a neighborhood impacted by the Eaton Fire of 2025. This event was the first activity under a larger The Heart of LifeWear commitment, where UNIQLO and the Dodgers will distribute clothing to LA communities in need.

UNIQLO LifeWear Day at Dodger Stadium (Sunday)

On Sunday, the week's partnership activities culminated in a special day for Dodgers fans at the game against Pittsburgh Pirates. Ke Huy Quan, Academy Award-winning actor and participant in UNIQLO's Peace for All initiative, joined the first pitch ceremony and drummed up fan excitement around the stadium. Meanwhile, UNIQLO gifted its limited edition UNIQLO x Dodgers sunglasses to the first 40,000 fans to pass through the gates at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium. In the middle of the sixth, the stadium's DodgerVision system featured these unique sunglasses in a special "Shades Cam" crowd competition. Throughout the game, fans could also create their own selfies or make photos with friends and families at several UNIQLO booths around the stadium featuring life-size representation of Manager Dave Roberts.
