Global apparel retailer UNIQLO today announces the worldwide release of four new designs for its ongoing PEACE FOR ALL charity T-shirt project. The PEACE FOR ALL project features UNIQLO graphic T-shirts with designs expressing a wish for peace, provided voluntarily by collaborators with close ties to UNIQLO who support the aim of "take action with a desire for world peace." All profits from the T-shirt sales are donated to international humanitarian organizations. The latest items will be available from Friday, September 26th.

The new collaborators are Club for the Future, a non-profit organization inspiring future generations through space-focused activities; Dr. Tasuku Honjo, recipient of the 2018 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his contributions to cancer immunotherapy research; and Ryo Ichiriki, world champion Go player and journalist.

Club for the Future has contributed two new designs created by astronauts Gary Lai, Leland Melvin, and Sian Proctor. Based on the words 'connection,' 'hope,' and 'belonging', these designs convey the importance of seeing the Earth as a single entity without borders, and sharing a common vision to foster a better future for the next generation. With his design, Dr. Honjo shares the words that have guided him throughout his career: curiosity, courage, challenge, confidence, concentrate, and continuation. Finally, Mr. Ichiriki's design quotes one of the 20th century's greatest Go players, Go Seigen: "GO is HARMONY." The design expresses his desire for a peaceful society, which requires a spirit of harmony that accepts diversity and maintains the balance of the whole.

UNIQLO, together with people around the world, will continue to expand this initiative in a desire for a future in which all people can live safely, and a hope for world peace.

  • Club for the Future(Non-profit Organization)
From Space, Earth has no borders. The reflections of astronauts Leland Melvin, Sian Proctor, and Gary Lai are depicted in the space-themed PEACE FOR ALL shirts. They highlight the transformative power of viewing Earth from above, inspiring a sense of unity and hope. By recognizing that Earth is a singular, harmonious entity without borders, we can nurture a collective vision for a peaceful future.
This is not only a wish for peace but also a call to action, encouraging everyone to embrace the shared responsibility we hold in protecting our planet and fostering a brighter future for generations to come.
PEACE FOR ALL. SPACE FOR EARTH.

  • Tasuku Honjo(Physician-Scientist)
Cherish your curiosity. Have the courage to tackle difficult problems, and have confidence that you can do it. Concentrate all of your energy, and continue without giving up. You can change the times.

  • Ryo Ichiriki(Go player)
"GO is HARMONY" is a quote from one of the greatest Go players of the 20th century, Go Seigen. Overall balance is always important: not only to communicate your own thoughts, but also to understand your opponent's point of view. Today's international community is losing its tolerance towards diversity. Conflict is frequent and uncertainty is rife. What is needed today is a spirit of harmony.
