UNIQLO today announces it has extended its Official Supplier Agreement with the Swedish Ski Association for another year. The two parties signed the initial accord in 2021, extending it last year for another year. The renewed agreement starts with the 2024-2025 moguls World Cup season, which begins in Ruka, Finland, on November 30. Swedish athletes will battle for supremacy wearing UNIQLO competition apparel, and then switch to Everyday Wear for training, travel, and at other times outside contests.

In addition, UNIQLO will again sponsor the fourth annual WORLD MOGUL CAMP for up-and-coming athletes from April 1 through 13, 2025, to be held in Japan. UNIQLO has been involved with this event since 2022, which features top athletes including Sweden's Moguls representative Walter Wallberg. The 2025 event will be in Hokkaido, Nagano, and for the first time, in Niigata.

Sweden's team performed solidly in the 2023-2024 moguls World Cup season. Highlights included third and fourth places overall for Philip Gravenfors and Walter Wallberg, respectively. Athletes greatly appreciated UNIQLO's apparel for helping them perform successfully, which prompted the Swedish Ski Association to seek an extension of its Official Supplier Agreement with UNIQLO.

For this fourth year of that accord, UNIQLO drew on athlete feedback to employ lighter fabrics for jackets and pants while retaining outstanding moisture permeability, water resistance and repellence. UNIQLO trimmed waists to enhance fit and replaced edge guards on pants hems with a softer, more durable material. It slightly repositioned knee panels to improve mobility during competition and to look more graceful and dynamic. As well as providing competition wear, UNQLO is supplying 20 other items from its lineup of everyday apparel. These items include BLOCKTECH Parkas and HEATTECH innerwear for cold weather extremes.

Speaking about the agreement extension, Mr. Wallberg said, "I am very pleased with the wear, which UNIQLO updates each season based on feedback from myself and other athletes. I believe that the apparel has contributed to our excellent competition results. I look forward to another great season with UNIQLO's apparel. Also, I always love participating in the annual WORLD MOGUL CAMP event in Japan. I very much look forward to meeting even more junior athletes at this year's three venues."

Koji Yanai, Group Senior Executive Officer at Fast Retailing, said, "Ever since we initiated this partnership with the Swedish Ski Association in 2021, it has been a great pleasure to see the mogul team in action in UNIQLO apparel. We are delighted to extend our agreement, and I look forward to seeing the athletes continuing their run of outstanding performances this season. We will keep collaborating with the Swedish team to provide more opportunities for young people to engage with world-class athletes."
