"UNIQLO TOKYO" to Open in Spring 2020 - Relocation and Expansion of the Current UNIQLO Marronnier Ginza Store to Become Largest UNIQLO store in Japan

UNIQLO, the Japanese global apparel retailer, today announces the opening of UNIQLO TOKYO in Ginza, Tokyo, in spring 2020. The current UNIQLO Marronnier Gate Ginza Store on the 7th floor of the Marronnier Gate Ginza 2 building will be relocated and expanded to the 1-4 floors, for a total sales floor space of approximately 4,450 square meters. The store will also be remodeled as "UNIQLO TOKYO," as part its first renovation in eight years, and become the largest UNIQLO store in Japan.

The expanded store opening in the Ginza area is an important and major step in UNIQLO's global strategy. This store aims to offer customers from throughout Japan and around the world who visit Ginza an opportunity to experience UNIQLO's world-leading LifeWear products and services.

LifeWear is UNIQLO's commitment to creating perfect clothing that meets the needs of everyone's daily lifestyles. High quality, functional, affordable and constantly being improved, LifeWear is available in a variety of colors and designs for people of all ages.

Together with UNIQLO TOKYO, the UNIQLO Harajuku Store, in the Harajuku area of Tokyo, is also scheduled to open in spring 2020, when Tokyo will be the focus of the world's attention. These stores will convey to the world UNIQLO's latest products and services.
