In keeping with its brand message "YOUR FREEDOM," GU will open GU STYLE STUDIO, a next-generation store that links online and offline shopping. The store will be opened in Harajuku, Tokyo in November 2018.
The physical store will display samples of GU's full lineup of products for men and women, providing customers with opportunities to experience the quality of GU products, inspiring them to create a variety of stylings and find new outfits to match their individuality. Products can then be ordered through the online store, and picked up by the customer at their desired time and place. The store aims to make shopping even more free and enjoyable, under the theme of "A new fashion experience, born in Harajuku. Create your unique style!"
GU Chief Executive Officer Osamu Yunoki commented, "I am extremely pleased to be opening a store in the global fashion hub of Harajuku.
