The First GU Store in Korea to Open on September 14 - Launching Online Store and Mobile App Ahead of Offline Store Opening

Fashion retailer GU, under the brand message 'YOUR FREEDOM, is opening its first Korean store 'GU Lotte World Mall Store' on Friday, September 14, 2018, in Seoul. With a sales floor area of 1,400 square meters, the store will carry a wide range of items for women, men and kids, with the aim of offering a space for customers to enjoy shopping freely.
Osako Hirofumi, GU Business Director in Korea, commented, "I am truly glad that our long-cherished dream of opening a store in Korea has finally come true. We will continue to strive to put down roots in Korea and become a brand loved by Korean customers."
GU also plans to launch its online store and official mobile application before opening the offline store, for the first time in the brand's history. GU will provide product information to customers across Korea quickly.
