UNIQLO, the Japanese global apparel retailer, today announces that it will open its first store in Stockholm on Friday, August 24. The new store will be located in the heart of Stockholm adjacent to Kungsträdgården, one of the most historical and popular areas of the city.
The countdown began back in January, at the time of the first announcement, for the arrival of LifeWear, the UNIQLO commitment to creating perfect clothing that meets the needs of everyone's daily lifestyles. High quality, functional, affordable and constantly being improved, LifeWear will be available in the new store in a variety of colors and designs for men, women, and kids across four levels.
UNIQLO will occupy a building that was designed by well-known Swedish architect Sven Gottfried Markelius, one of the founding fathers of functionalism. The store will celebrate his legacy by showcasing examples of his creations.
