Job Description

This position will be responsible for the development of the company's business in the future.

Recruitment Background
The Fast Retailing Group aims to create a "new industry" based on the concept of "LifeWear," and is aggressively pursuing initiatives in each region of the world, without being bound by industry norms. The creation of a sustainable supply chain is an important part of our future growth strategy, and we are not limited to the transformation of our production plants, sewing factories, and logistics processes, but are also working to improve transparency and strengthen management in the procurement phase of raw materials, which is the most upstream stage of our business. In this position, we are looking for someone who will work with our suppliers and the company to plan strategies and build a system to manage the raw material procurement phase under the leadership of the company. We are looking for someone who shares our values and vision, and who can lead the implementation phase of building a global supply chain.

■Department Overview
The Production Department, to which you will be assigned, is working to build a supply chain that ensures sustainability while enabling stable and flexible production in order to respond to global business expansion and diversifying customer needs. We aim to expand the strong partnerships we have built with sewing factories and major material factories to the upstream processes of the supply chain, apply our own standards for quality, procurement, production systems, and environmental and human rights compliance at all stages of production, and manage the entire supply chain ourselves. To achieve this, we will visualize the entire supply chain from the final product to the raw material level, and consolidate transactions with a small number of elite production partners. In the future, we are also working to procure raw materials from designated farms and ranches.

Business Activities
You will be responsible for leading the "deepening of raw material procurement management," one of the three pillars of the production area (see URL below). You will work with global partners to promote initiatives to designate and procure from farms, ranches, and factories, thereby stabilizing quality and ensuring transparency and safety of procurement from the very beginning to the very end of the process.
Develop and implement global sustainable material development and raw material sourcing strategies.
Ensure transparency and safety of raw material procurement channels based on strong partnerships with partner factories.
