Job Description
*Please note that this position involves an assignment to overseas locations such as Shanghai, Vietnam, and India from the time of hire.
■Recruitment Background
The Fast Retailing Group aims to create a “new industry” based on the “LifeWear” concept, actively pursuing initiatives in various regions without being bound by industry conventions. Building a sustainable supply chain plays a critical role in our future growth strategy. We are not only undergoing transformation in production plants, sewing factories, and logistics processes but also striving to improve transparency and strengthen management in the raw material procurement phase—the very upstream of the supply chain. For this position, we are seeking a candidate who will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to engage in strategic planning and organizational development, enabling the company to take a leadership role in managing the raw material procurement phase. We look forward to hearing from candidates who share our values and vision and are capable of leading the execution phase of building a global supply chain.
■ Department Overview
The Production Department, to which you will be assigned, is working to build a supply chain capable of stable and flexible production while ensuring sustainability, in order to respond to global business expansion and diversifying customer needs. We aim to expand the strong partnerships we have traditionally built with sewing factories and major material suppliers to the upstream stages of the supply chain. Our goal is to apply our own standards for quality, procurement, production systems, and environmental and human rights compliance across all production processes, thereby managing the entire supply chain in-house. To achieve this, we are implementing end-to-end visibility from the final product down to the raw material level and consolidating our transactions with a select group of elite production partners.Furthermore, we are currently advancing initiatives to source raw materials from designated farms and ranches.
■ Job Description
You will lead the "Deepening of Raw Material Procurement Management," one of the three pillars of our production initiatives (see the URL below). By collaborating with global partners to designate and source from specific farms, ranches, or factories, you will help stabilize quality and ensure transparency and safety in procurement all the way to the very source.
- Formulate and execute global sustainable material development and raw material procurement strategies
- Ensure transparency and safety in raw material sourcing channels based on strong partnerships with supplier factories
