[Notification] Fraudulent Phishing Content Targeting People Online

UNIQLO parent company, Fast Retailing, confirms that fraudulent phishing content is currently circulating on some social media platforms, disguised as news articles and videos about UNIQLO and Fast Retailing. This content solicits personal information or asks individuals to transfer money for investment purposes.
Fast Retailing advises customers that this content has no connection whatsoever to Fast Retailing or its President Tadashi Yanai, and urges customers to exercise caution online. Any online content encouraging individuals to invest via a link should be considered suspicious. Opening links contained in these fraudulent articles and videos may lead people to become a victim of a scam.
Fast Retailing is pursuing all available measures to remove this content and to identify its origin. Any victim who has transmitted either personal information or money, should immediately contact their local police department, the National Police Agency, or the Consumer Affairs Agency, as follows:
