UNIQLO Unveils its Much-Awaited First Store in Mumbai

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO is set to open its long-anticipated first store in Mumbai on October 6 at Phoenix Marketcity Kurla, Mumbai, with doors opening at 11.00am. The new store will offer customers in Mumbai a new shopping experience that showcases LifeWear - the company's commitment to creating perfect clothing that meets the requirements of everyone's daily lifestyle needs.
Commenting on the launch, Tomohiko Sei, Chief Executive Officer, UNIQLO India, said "We are thrilled to be opening our much-awaited first Mumbai store. From seeing a strong demand on our e-commerce channel to now launching brick-and-mortar stores in Mumbai, we are delighted to bring our LifeWear to Mumbaikars, and look forward to supporting their daily lives." UNIQLO Phoenix Marketcity Kurla will be UNIQLO's 11th brick-and-mortar store in India, and its first ever in Mumbai.
To celebrate the opening, UNIQLO is offering a series of special promotions such as limited offers on its popular core items like Ultra Light Down Jackets, Soft Brushed Shirts, Flannel Shirts, U AIRism Oversized T Shirts, EZY Jeans, and more. The first hundred customers will receive a free Round Mini Shoulder Bag with every purchase. Further, they will also receive a discount of INR 1,000/- on purchases of INR 6,000/- and above.
Additionally, all customers with purchases of INR 6,000/- and above will receive a custom Tote Bag featuring a special UNIQLO x Mumbai design by illustrator Aashti Miller (while stocks last). Finally, all customers will also be able to avail special offers by downloading the Official UNIQLO India App.

Spread across two floors, the UNIQLO Phoenix Marketcity Kurla, Mumbai store will offer consumers a range of LifeWear collections for men, women, kids, and babies, with its thoughtfully designed, high-quality, and functional products that are made for all.
The store will also offer the entire range of Fall/Winter products, such as its innovative and functional Ultra Light Down, HEATTECH, and Fleece products made from recycled materials, as well as products featuring premium fabrics such as cashmere, lambswool, and merino. Customers can also find UNIQLO's essential items such as easy-care rayon, AIRism T-shirts, denims, fine cloth shirts, and smart ankle pants. The lineup will also include the special UNIQLO and KAWS collaboration UT T-shirt collection.
In addition, the new store will also feature a creative rendition of the spirit of Mumbai by local architect and illustrator Aashti Miller. Her vibrant artwork, spread across the escalator wall, highlights iconic elements of Mumbai - from the colossal structure of the Gateway of India to the delight of a day's chai, her designs capture the true essence of what locals know as 'the maximum city'.
