Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. today announces the opening of the newly-renovated MINA TENJIN, a shopping mall managed by the company in the Tenjin district of Fukuoka, Japan, on 28 April 2023. In addition to hosting the largest UNIQLO store in Kyushu, the facility will also feature other Fast Retailing Group brand stores GU, PLST, and Theory.
The full-scale renovation of MINA TENJIN integrates the nine-story building with the adjacent NORTH TENJIN commercial facility, to create a total sales area of more than 22,000 square meters. Given Fukuoka's proximity to and ease of access from nearby regions, MINA TENJIN is in a prime location to welcome travelers looking to enjoy a high-quality shopping experience in Japan.
The Tenjin area in Fukuoka is currently undergoing major redevelopment, which is expected to significantly increase foot traffic in the area. Leveraging the generous space of up to 2,600 square meters per floor, MINA TENJIN aims to become an integral part of the everyday lives of all kinds of customers, as well as a destination for travelers in the region.
