UNIQLO Global Brand Ambassadors Roger Federer, Kei Nishikori, Shingo Kunieda, Gordon Reid, Adam Scott and Ayumu Hirano will lead a series of activities with the goal of inspiring and supporting young people everywhere as they grow into tomorrow's leaders.
Fast Retailing Group Senior Executive Officer Koji Yanai commented: "Through our new Next Generation Development Program we will strengthen our commitment and support toward the next generation of youth. Together with our global brand ambassadors, partners and sports organizations, we look forward to continue to generate a positive impact toward their future with learning opportunities through sports and creativity."
UNIQLO conducts its program with its six Global Brand Ambassadors and sports organizations such as the Japan Football Association (JFA), Japan Tennis Association (JTA), Swedish Olympic Committee (SOC) and Swedish Paralympic Committee (SPC), and most recently with former Major League Baseball player Ichiro Suzuki. The program aims to contribute to society, providing young people with opportunities to interact and learn from elite athletes. Events combine sports coaching and mentoring with education on topics like sustainability, inspiring young people to become their best, in sport and in life, as they grow into tomorrow's leaders.
UNIQLO is currently in development with Roger to create an exciting and unique global program that reflects his personal goals and future interests, as well as mutual interests in tennis, creativity and culture. More details will be announced at the appropriate time.
