UNIQLO Donates from Proceeds of Charity Tennis Match - Total of ¥19,694,000 Contributed for Typhoon Disaster Areas and Support Organizations

UNIQLO, the Japanese global apparel retailer, today announces that around 8,000 people attended the UNIQLO LifeWear Day Tokyo Charity Tennis Match, held at Ariake Coliseum in Koto-ku, Tokyo on October 14, 2019. UNIQLO will donate a total of ¥19,694,000 from proceeds of the event to organizations it supports, and as financial assistance to regions affected by Typhoon Hagibis. UNIQLO would like to thank all the visitors for their support.

The allocation of contributions for 1-5 and the donation for the Typhoon Hagibis affected areas were determined through voting by the visitors to the Charity Tennis Match. A portion of the proceeds was also donated to the Tohoku Youth Orchestra, which performed at the event.
