The mission of the Domestic Tax Manager is to work with relevant departments to drive improvements aimed at enhancing management efficiency from a tax perspective. In addition to the typically expected tasks—such as handling tax filings for domestic subsidiaries and consolidated tax returns—the role requires tax expertise and risk management capabilities, including the reorganization of accounting rules and business processes to meet tax requirements, as well as providing thorough guidance to related departments.

■ Department Overview
The Planning and Management Department supports the finance function—including business planning, accounting, finance, tax, BPR promotion, Digital Finance projects, and IR—and consists of approximately 130 employees.
In terms of culture, the reporting structure is simple—CFO → Department Head → Team Leader—which allows for direct, daily exchange of opinions and raising of issues not only horizontally but also vertically.
Another major feature is the wide range of opportunities for career advancement, which can happen quickly.
Transfers between teams within the Planning and Management Department, as well as between domestic and international locations, are common. Since this department encompasses all functions related to management metrics—including administration, accounting, finance, and tax—we can consider flexible transfers based on each employee’s abilities, preferences, and career plans.

*Depending on your experience, skills, and career aspirations, you will be assigned to the tasks listed below either as a dedicated domestic tax specialist or in a role that includes international tax responsibilities. a) Filing corporate income tax returns and other tax returns for Japanese corporations
b) Consolidated tax filing
c) Handling tax audits
d) Handling international tax issues at domestic and overseas group companies

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・At least 3 years of experience in tax-related work

・Certified Public Tax Accountant (CPTA)
・Experience working at a major tax accounting firm
・Experience in domestic tax matters for companies listed on the Prime Market
・Experience with consolidated tax filing

・Annual salary range: 6.72–12.96 million yen (Monthly salary: 420,000–720,000 yen)

・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
