Job Description

UNIQLO is placing a greater emphasis on early-media communication, centered on PR and digital media, in addition to traditional paid media communications such as advertising and promotion. The PR organization plays an important central role in this process, and we are looking for PR professionals who can plan and execute a variety of communication methods. We are looking for PR professionals who can plan and execute various communication methods.

Mission of this position
This position is responsible for developing and executing PR and communication plans to increase awareness and sales of UNIQLO's products in general, as well as for collaborations and other projects. We hope to increase the number of fans of UNIQLO's "LifeWear" concept by helping customers understand through the media and stakeholders that UNIQLO is a brand with a unique clothing-making philosophy that no other company has.

■ Job Description
Based on UNIQLO's brand concept "LifeWear," the successful candidate will contribute to maximizing sales through the development and execution of communication plans for each product and project.

Specifically,
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute PR strategies.
Planning and execution of events and promotions such as exhibitions and previews
Build cooperative relationships with various media outlets (newspapers, TV, publishers, etc.) and stakeholders.
Visualization of the effects of PR activities and accurate feedback of external opinions and findings to the company

Qualifications

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities
Experience in any of the following
Experience in PR or marketing at a cosmetics, consumer goods, or luxury brand company
Experience in PR projects for B-to-C products at a PR agency
Experience in marketing, advertising, or sales at a publishing company, advertising agency, TV station, record company, or film distribution company

■Experience, skills, and abilities that are welcome
Strong knowledge of culture and trends, not only in fashion, but also in books, paintings, music, etc.
Relationships with various media industry professionals
English skills with TOEIC score of 700 or above or equivalent

■Annual Income
Annual salary range: 7,040,000-1,206,000 yen (monthly salary: 440,000-670,000 yen)
Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with our company's regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's business performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
