Job Description
■ Background of the Opening
As a driving force behind the Fast Retailing Group’s company-wide transformation and profit growth, the Planning and Management Department is responsible for building a solid financial foundation to support a “global company with 3 trillion yen in revenue” and, from the perspective of the global headquarters, serves as the financial steward for operations in each country. We are seeking a candidate who can proactively lead the identification and resolution of management challenges while considering the company’s overall profit structure.
■Department Overview
The accounting team supporting the Fast Retailing Group’s growth is expected to accurately and promptly report critical information necessary for management decisions, while also providing forward-looking forecasts and recommendations for resolving issues based on financial data.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who wish to apply their current skills and experience in a global environment and further develop their practical accounting knowledge. Please bring your curiosity about business beyond the confines of accounting, as well as your flexible thinking and judgment.
■ Job Description
You will be responsible for financial closing and consolidation as the accounting manager for the Japanese operations of one of the Fast Retailing Group’s brands, or as a member of the Group Consolidation team. (We will discuss which brand you will be assigned to during the selection process.)
Your role will extend beyond routine tasks; you will be responsible for comprehensively understanding the company’s financial condition and operating performance, and directly reporting the information necessary for management decisions to senior leadership. Another key part of your mission will be to drive forward proactive forecasting based on financial metrics and propose solutions to address issues.

Qualifications
■Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・At least 5 years of experience in either corporate accounting (including year-end closing) or as a certified public accountant at an audit firm
・TOEIC score of 700 or higher, or practical experience using English in a business setting (conversational)
・Ability to proactively engage others and solve problems
・Strong communication skills
・Microsoft Excel (basic functions)
■ Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Since there is a possibility of being assigned to an overseas location in the future as an accounting or business planning specialist, English proficiency is preferred. (The required level varies depending on the anticipated grade.) We also welcome candidates who are motivated to acquire these skills through dedicated effort.

■Annual Salary
・Annual salary range: 6.72–12.96 million yen (Monthly salary: 420,000–720,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, in addition to the above.

Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)

■ Holidays and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are working days) Annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), childcare and nursing care leave systems, etc.
