At GU, we view sustainability not merely as a social contribution activity, but as a critical management priority essential to achieving brand growth. To continue bringing the joy of fashion to more customers, we are not only promoting initiatives that encourage customers to enjoy their clothes for longer and advancing resource recycling, but we are also working to create opportunities for the next generation—our children—to make their own choices, think independently, and enjoy fashion. Through these efforts, we are building a brand that will enjoy long-term support from our customers.
To achieve this, we established a new Sustainability Team within the Marketing Department in 2025. This team is responsible for the entire process—from formulating sustainability strategies that contribute to brand growth to implementing initiatives, co-creating with internal and external stakeholders, and communicating in ways that maximize the value of our activities.
In this role, you will serve as a core member of this team—which is currently in its launch phase—and drive brand growth through sustainability. We are seeking someone who can take the initiative to plan initiatives, engage diverse stakeholders, and take on the challenge of balancing business growth with solving social issues.
