Job Description

Recruitment Background

GU, one of the Fast Retailing Group’s flagship brands, has continued to grow by delivering products and services that meet customer expectations while incorporating the latest trends, guided by its brand message, “YOUR FREEDOM: The freedom to reinvent yourself.”We surpassed 300 billion yen in sales for the fiscal year ending August 2025, and as we approach our 20th anniversary in 2026—marked by the appointment of Francesco Risso as Creative Director—we are entering a new phase as a global brand.
We are currently working to clearly define GU’s brand value, enhance the quality of our products, retail spaces, and e-commerce, and provide the “GU essence” that allows customers to enjoy fashion to the fullest. As a result, the role of PR in conveying the appeal of fashion and styling to the world is becoming increasingly important. We are seeking someone who can lead this new branding initiative by sharing the GU brand’s values with the world while enjoying this phase of bold transformation together with us.

Department Overview

The PR Team within the Marketing Department, to which you will be assigned, fulfills two roles: Corporate PR and Fashion PR. • Securing media coverage through press releases and newsletters

  • Visualizing the effectiveness of PR activities and providing internal feedback on media responses and insights
