Job Description

■ Background of the Opening
As PLST expands its business and further enriches its product lineup, it has become an urgent priority to delve deeply into each individual product and strengthen our quality control system.
For this position, we are seeking someone who can leverage their expertise in quality control to collaborate with business partners and relevant internal departments to help us drive high-quality manufacturing.

■Department Overview
To embody our brand concept—“everyday wear for when you want to look your best”—at the highest level, PLST’s Production Department promotes a quality-first approach to manufacturing, from material selection through design, sewing, and mass production. The Fast Retailing Group’s quality standards are extremely rigorous. While adhering to these standards, we engage in daily trial and error to achieve a level of quality that delivers value beyond the price point. Our small but highly skilled team leverages their individual expertise to focus on product development and quality.

■Job Description
As a Quality Control Specialist, you will comprehensively verify materials, designs, and manufacturing conditions in accordance with PLST’s quality standards and relevant regulations, and be responsible for finalizing quality labeling information, including care labels. The primary role of this position is to give tangible form to the brand’s quality so that product characteristics are accurately communicated and customers can wear the items with confidence for years to come.

Specifically, during the sample stage—from material selection to finalizing specifications—you will determine the quality standards for each product by reviewing various inspection results, evaluation data based on simulated real-world use, and the quality inspection criteria for mass production.

You will also be expected to collect and analyze post-sale customer feedback, identify quality-related issues, and use these insights to drive improvements in future products. By collaborating with the MD, R&D, and e-commerce departments, as well as partner factories and testing agencies, you will drive quality improvements and play a key role in supporting PLST’s overall product quality and brand trust.

■Career Path
In the future, we expect you to play a key role as a core member of the team, supporting the brand’s trust through product quality by formulating PLST’s overall quality policies and leading quality improvement projects. Depending on your aspirations and aptitude, you may also expand your role into production MD or cross-functional quality areas, leveraging your expertise in quality operations as a strength.
