Job Description
■Recruitment Background

A key feature of our approach is that we handle these matters on a global Group-wide basis—ranging from strengthening cybersecurity measures and providing employee training on information security to enhancing information security measures across the entire supply chain, including external business partners.
In this position, you will lead the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) domain for information security across the entire Group. Your mission is not to treat information security merely as a set of “rules,” but to work in consultation with business departments to establish systems that are grounded in the actual operations, assets, and realities of the business, thereby ensuring their effectiveness across the Group globally. We are seeking someone who can support our company’s sustainable growth from within the GRC domain.

The Information Security Office, to which you will be assigned, is a diverse, global organization that spans all countries where we operate. With the Global Headquarters (GHQ) serving as the command center, the office is uniquely positioned to consistently handle the formulation of policies, training, risk assessment, monitoring, and improvement efforts regarding security risks that could impact global business operations.
■Job Description
This role covers all aspects of global information security for the Fast Retailing Group. Depending on your experience and career aspirations, you will be responsible for multiple areas from the following:
・Formulating policies regarding the management of confidential and personal information, conducting departmental training, and performing compliance audits
・Evaluation of third-party service providers (personal information, confidential information, SaaS, AI models)
・Driving global projects and resolving issues
・Security assessments and audits of supply chain partners (manufacturing plants, freight forwarders, and distribution warehouses)
・Formulation and implementation of AI governance rules
・Rolling out the above measures to each country of operation and brand
・Promotion of other information security-related tasks as required by business conditions

・Experience in organizing workflows and rules, and designing and building business processes
・Ability to identify and analyze potential risks and challenges, and propose effective improvement measures to stakeholders
・Communication skills to explain and coordinate matters clearly, adapting to the other party’s perspective and level of understanding
・Business-level Japanese (sufficient to participate in discussions and understand documents; JLPT N2 or higher is a guideline)
・Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC score of 700 or higher is a guideline)

・Annual Salary Range: 6.24–16.50 million yen (Monthly Salary: 390,000–780,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.
