Job Description
■Recruitment Background
The Fast Retailing Group aims to become the No. 1 brand most loved by customers worldwide, serving as the “clothing infrastructure” essential to comfortable daily lives for everyone.
As the primary arena for business and operations shifts to the digital space, the risks of fraud in online transactions and business processes are becoming more sophisticated and diverse with each passing year. In this environment, establishing a system to accurately assess fraud risks across the entire global organization and to continuously deter and mitigate them has become a critical challenge.
In this position, you will conduct on-site inspections of information systems and business processes to comprehensively identify fraud risks based on transaction and usage patterns. Working in collaboration with various business departments and the IT department, you will drive the planning, implementation, and improvement of measures to prevent fraud. We are seeking a candidate who can lead the advancement of global fraud prevention strategies by prioritizing a perspective grounded in the “front lines, actual items, and reality,” while consulting with stakeholders both domestically and internationally.
■ Department Overview
The Information Security Office is responsible for protecting customers’ personal information and internal confidential data, as well as mitigating fraud risks in our online business. We continuously monitor the entire Group’s information systems and digital services to ensure that fraud prevention measures and security policies are being properly implemented on the ground. We also collaborate with representatives in various countries to identify and address global fraud risks.
As the global headquarters, this position serves as the command center, consistently driving initiatives from the planning and implementation of countermeasures through to operational improvements, thereby realizing optimal anti-fraud measures across the entire global organization. You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders and technologies to drive the implementation of fraud prevention mechanisms and technologies, as well as risk mitigation measures for online services.
■Job Description
This position supports our rapidly growing global e-commerce business by addressing online fraud. You will collaborate with representatives in each country to lead the planning and implementation of fraud prevention measures, while driving improvements through daily fraud monitoring and analysis, thereby contributing to the operation of an online store that customers worldwide can use with confidence.
Examples of specific responsibilities:
・Overall planning of online fraud prevention measures, liaising with relevant departments, technical implementation, and operational setup
・Operating the log monitoring platform (SIEM) and developing monitoring rules
・Establishing and operating fraud monitoring operations (e.g., credit card fraud, bulk purchases)
・Other related tasks for the company’s risk management
*The Job Description is subject to change within the scope of duties relevant to each department of the headquarters due to department transfers or organizational changes.
■ Career Path
Even if you have no prior experience in online fraud prevention, you can develop your career with the support of your colleagues. In addition to career development as a fraud prevention and information security specialist, there is active personnel exchange with the Digital Transformation Services Department (IT Division), with which we collaborate closely. Depending on your abilities, aptitude, and motivation, you can broaden your horizons across departments. Furthermore, opportunities to work not only in Japan but also at overseas locations are expanding.
