Job Description

■Recruitment Background
The Fast Retailing Group is currently expanding its business with the goal of becoming the world’s No. 1 apparel company.
Beyond simply assigning employees from Japan to overseas posts, opportunities for individual professional development are diversifying alongside our global business growth—including an increase in both the number of sending and host countries, as well as cross-border dual roles. We are seeking a candidate who can lead the development of a tax compliance framework to ensure our employees can work with peace of mind.

■Job Description
To achieve the mission described above, you will perform the following duties in the area of mobility taxation:
(1) Establishing systems for tax compliance related to overseas assignments and business trips
(2) Developing policies and procedures to ensure tax compliance regarding the personal assets and income of employees on overseas assignments
(3) Developing personnel and building an organization to handle global mobility tax matters
(4) Identifying issues with the overseas assignment system, proposing revisions, and establishing operational procedures
(5) Leading collaboration with tax consulting firms to advance the above initiatives

■Work Environment
In carrying out HR planning and design, it is essential to make proposals to and collaborate with not only local HR departments but also the management boards of each country’s business units. As the global headquarters, you will lead our subsidiaries in each country worldwide.
Our performance evaluation system requires employees to first set their own goals aligned with team objectives, define challenges in consultation with their supervisors, and then be evaluated based on the degree to which those goals are achieved. From this perspective, performing the duties described above requires more than just operational know-how; you must be able to grasp the essence of challenges, devise solutions without being constrained by past practices or existing methods, and execute those solutions.

Qualifications

・Experience in resolving issues related to the compensation, taxation, and accounting of expatriate employees, as well as experience in planning and resolving issues related to global mobility
・Experience solving problems within project settings
・Ability to communicate in Japanese and English

Work Conditions

■Employment Type
Full-time Employee (Permanent Position, with a 3-month probationary period)

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 8.5–14.0 million yen (Monthly Salary: 500,000–800,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.

Flexible work hours or managerial/supervisory position
・Flexible work schedule
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Flexible hours…6:00–9:00 and 14:00–20:00; overtime work may occur

・Supervisors
Based on the working hours of the employee’s department; left to the employee’s discretion

■ Days Off and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are considered workdays) Annual paid leave, special leave (including leave for weddings and bereavement), childcare and family care leave systems, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which the employee belongs)
