Job Description

■Recruitment Background
Fast Retailing is currently aiming for consolidated group sales of 5 trillion yen and eventually 10 trillion yen. To achieve this, our supply chain division is driving the ultimate supply chain transformation—one that no other company in the world has yet realized: “manufacturing, transporting, and selling exactly what customers want, when they want it, and in the exact quantities they need.”
To realize this vision, it is essential to improve the P&L (profit and loss) from a management perspective, appropriately manage warehouse and delivery costs, and promote the resolution of industry challenges and evolution through strategic investment.
For this position, we are seeking a leadership candidate who possesses the vision and execution skills to enhance the profitability of the entire supply chain from a management perspective. Through the establishment of strong partnerships with business partners and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, this individual will help create the logistics of the future.

■ Department Overview
The Global Logistics Support (P&L and KPI Management) Team within the Global Supply Chain Management Department, to which you will be assigned, is tasked with achieving efficiency and profitability improvements in the logistics sector that supports the sales of the UNIQLO business, which operates 2,519 stores across 24 countries and regions worldwide (as of the end of August 2025). By improving the P&L from a management perspective and optimizing the entire supply chain, the team plays a critical role in supporting the growth of the global brand.
As a team reporting directly to management and using the P&L as a starting point, you will drive the qualitative evolution that forms the foundation of our “Fourth Founding”—a vision aimed at becoming the world’s most beloved No. 1 brand by pursuing both low-cost management and operational efficiency.

■Job Description
・After joining the company, you will spend approximately six months deepening your understanding of operations through on-the-job training (OJT) at stores and warehouses. You will then take on the role of manager responsible for budget vs. actual logistics cost management within the store logistics sector of UNIQLO Japan, which supports approximately 1 trillion yen in domestic sales.
・You will be responsible for the entire logistics cost management process, from formulating the full-year logistics budget to calculating monthly logistics cost forecasts, identifying issues through budget vs. actual analysis, and planning, executing, and managing the progress of improvement initiatives. This is a leadership role where you will collaborate with senior management and relevant departments to drive the achievement of goals.
・We also expect you to drive the further advancement of logistics by building partnerships with external vendors, managing contracts and negotiating unit prices, and introducing cutting-edge technologies, all while working closely with management both inside and outside the company.
・The Job Description may change depending on department transfers or organizational restructuring, within the scope of duties related to each department within the headquarters.

■ Career Path
・Depending on your skills and aptitude, you will have the opportunity to take on leadership roles in various areas of the Global Supply Chain Management Department, such as global logistics cost management, KPI management, or head of overseas logistics.
