■Outline of the department
The mission of the "Digital Business Transformation Service Department" is to create results by defining, building, and thoroughly utilizing future-oriented business systems from the customer's perspective, regardless of the boundaries between business and IT, headquarters and field, and real and virtual. We are characterized by our end-to-end approach to the entire process of business and system transformation. While controlling the core aspects of business construction and system development in-house, we also actively collaborate with companies that possess the world's most advanced technologies and promote the introduction of new technologies such as AI. The organization is composed of multinational members with diverse backgrounds, including project managers, engineers, and data scientists, who use their strengths to collaborate across team and department boundaries to achieve the best customer experience and business growth, while placing importance on employee growth.

■ Job Description
As a Generative AI and Machine Learning Engineer, you will lead the development of generative AI and machine learning systems for EC, supply chain, product planning, business automation, customer center, and other systems in cooperation with business divisions.
Design and implementation of PoC based on business issues in business divisions
Lead development projects in collaboration with business units
Design, development, and operation of systems using large-scale data, generative AI, and machine learning
Selection and design of technologies related to generative AI and machine learning

*Overseas business trips to countries of operation and development partners may be required.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in leading the resolution of issues by collaborating with stakeholders who utilize machine learning.
Strong interest and practical experience in improving business efficiency using machine learning
At least 5 years of programming experience (Java, Javascript, Go, Python, etc.)
At least 3 years of experience in system operation
Positive, responsible, and flexible in mindset.
∙ Logical thinking. Ability to go beyond language to understand intent and background and lead to problem resolution.
・Organizational/project management experience or experience in mentoring subordinates/junior staff.
Able to work in a positive work environment where English is used on a daily basis.
Fluency in English is not required. We will provide an environment where you can learn in the course of actual work and support to become accustomed to English.

Experience in B2C API and batch development and operation
Experience in building and operating business systems in the fashion apparel industry and EC
Experience in cloud computing with major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, etc.
Experience in leading a multinational team as an engineer
Experience in building commonly and universally used frameworks and libraries
Experience in building and operating large-scale web services
Experience in building and operating supply chains such as production and logistics
Experience working with external partners and system integrators
Knowledge of automation technologies such as continuous integration and continuous deployment
Experience and understanding of testing methodologies and quality control
Experience in agile development
Experience with distributed systems, highly concurrent systems, and highly available systems

Annual salary
Annual salary range: 12-19 million yen (monthly salary: 620,000-940,000 yen)
