Most recently, we opened the UNIQLO Mayer store in the heart of Antwerp, Belgium in September 2025 and a global flagship store in Umeda, Osaka in October. As we accelerate our global store openings to deliver LifeWear to customers around the world, we are looking for people who can work with us to create the world's best stores.

■Outline of the department
The mission of the Store Development Department, to which you will be assigned, is to "create sales and profit growth through store development." The department builds strategies for each of the company's global businesses and opens approximately 300 UNIQLO, GU, PLST, Theory, and other stores globally each year. The department includes store design, construction management, new store development, facility management, asset management, facility management, and other teams. The design and construction team to which you will be assigned is composed of employees from backgrounds such as organizational design firms, interior designers, general contractors, and developers, each of whom is active in his or her own strength.

Job Description
You will be responsible for one of the following domestic or global store design and construction projects. We will determine your assignment based on your experience and preferences during the selection process.

(1) Store Designer
This is a management role in the planning, design development, and design of stores for new global and domestic store opening projects.
The store designer will be responsible for the creation of new stores that anticipate the times, individual store design that reflects regional characteristics and customer needs, and the creation of sales areas that will be loved by the local community.
Development of new store opening formats and store formats, store design transformation with an awareness of the purchasing experience and e-commerce linkage, and promotion of sustainable store creation.

(2) Store design and construction project manager
Management of the overall store opening project at each stage of planning, design, ordering, and construction.
Based on the store opening strategy, manage the entire process from planning and design to construction and opening of the new store, and promote prompt and reliable store openings.
(2) Global store design: Designing individual stores and creating sales areas that respect local characteristics and customer characteristics and aim for stores that will be loved by customers for a long time.

(3) Global Store Design: Business Transformation and Data Utilization
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing and utilizing data in store design and construction, as well as promoting operational efficiency.
Planning and execution of mid- to long-term digitalization strategy for store design and construction in line with global store opening strategy, and creating results.
Analyze the principles of successful stores by utilizing existing store sales and store design data, and contribute to the next expansion of store openings and sales.
Project management of system design and development by setting organizational business process issues and collaborating with internal stakeholders
Promote the development of an environment in which all global members can utilize digital platforms centered on BIM as the company's internal infrastructure

Qualifications

Required Experience
Experience in any of the following
Experience in architectural design, interior design, construction management, or other building/facility related work
In-house retail design development experience in the retail, restaurant, and service industries
At least 3 years of experience in BIM promotion, business transformation and design, and system development and operation at a general contractor, consulting firm, SIer, or business enterprise.

■Welcome experience
Experience in overseas projects and overseas operations
English skills (TOEIC score of 700 or experience in business use)
Experience using AutoCAD, Adobe software, BIM (Revit recommended)

Annual salary
Annual salary range: 8-13.5 million yen (monthly salary: 500,000-750,000 yen)
Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with our company's regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's performance and personnel evaluation)
