Job Description
■Recruitment Background:
GU, one of the major brands within the Fast Retailing Group, aims to become a true global brand. These include building a stronger management team through the recruitment and development of diverse talent, enhancing the quality of products and styling, creating shopping environments that are easy for customers to navigate,We are seeking a VMD Manager candidate to join us in advancing our global challenge based on GU's unique brand value: "Mini Max edit" – maximizing fashion enjoyment with minimal SKUs and prices. This will be achieved through comprehensive transformations across all aspects of the apparel business, including improving the accuracy of quantity and sales planning, and establishing a flexible system for additional production.
■Department Overview
The assigned IMD (In-Store Merchandising) Department is responsible for in-store merchandising. As the overall producer of store creation and operations, it aims to transform stores—the direct point of contact with customers—into spaces where GU's brand message is expressed in every aspect, ensuring all visiting customers enjoy fashion.
The IMD Department consists of two teams: the Layout Team, which devises optimal in-store product layouts, and the VMD Team, which communicates the appeal of laid-out products through mannequin styling. This recruitment is for the VMD Team. Rather than VMD staff achieving things alone, they collaborate with members from various internal departments—such as the Layout Team, MD, Sales Department handling store operations, and stores themselves—to drive the creation of optimal sales floors.

GU provides the latest fashion. To help customers visually understand the image and appeal of each product, you will attractively express the concept and story behind each item. Through mannequin styling, you will create sales floors that allow customers to enjoy fashion and shopping.
Specifically, the duties include:
・Monthly and weekly mannequin styling and sales floor presentation. This applies to all domestic and international stores (including new stores and flagship stores), executed according to sales floor layout strategies and concepts.
・Developing mannequin styling guidelines for implementation across all GU stores worldwide
・Styling for in-store promotional materials
・Sales activities to achieve ideal VMD across all GU stores globally and development of team members
・The Job Description may change within the scope of tasks related to various headquarters departments due to department transfers or organizational changes

・Annual Salary Range: ¥6.24 million - ¥13.5 million (Monthly Salary: ¥390,000 - ¥750,000)
