■Job Description
To ensure that Fast Retailing Group employees worldwide can work safely and with peace of mind, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of results for initiatives—from a global, cross-functional perspective focused on occupational safety and health—to address management challenges in each country.
Broadly speaking, this involves the following two areas:
(1) Resolving occupational safety and health management issues in Japan
・As a member of the Health and Safety Department at the global headquarters in Japan, you will work to create a workplace where employees can work in good health and safety
・Specifically, to prevent workplace accidents and maintain and promote physical and mental health, you will identify on-site issues, develop solutions, and implement measures in collaboration with relevant departments
(2) Establishing a global occupational safety and health management framework and implementing various initiatives (building autonomous problem-solving systems in each country)
・Establishing a framework to resolve occupational safety and health issues in overseas countries
・Supporting local personnel in improving their own occupational safety and health environments and driving on-site transformation through the implementation of initiatives, by providing appropriate information, advice, and training
・Visiting overseas locations to directly verify and provide guidance on workplace occupational safety and health conditions
・Collecting and analyzing safety issues that occur globally to formulate and implement company-wide occupational accident prevention measures

There are various career development opportunities, including the chance to take on management roles such as Leader (Manager), Department Head, and Executive within the Corporate Services division, as well as opportunities to work in Corporate Services overseas or transfer to other departments within the company.

Qualifications

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Individuals who have led problem-solving initiatives in collaboration with other team members
・Individuals capable of communicating smoothly in a business context with external parties and colleagues from other departments, both in Japan and abroad
・Individuals who possess a service-oriented mindset toward others (employees) and cost awareness, and who are committed to achieving final results

■Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Experience in designing occupational safety and health systems
・Individuals with experience as a safety manager in logistics warehouses or the retail industry
・Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as Japan’s Occupational Safety and Health Act
・Ability to perform duties in English (including meetings, negotiations, and document preparation)

Work Conditions

■Company Name: Fast Retailing Co., Ltd.

■Employment Type: Full-time Employee

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 8–14 million yen (Monthly Salary: 500,000–780,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, not limited to the figures above

■ Working Hours
Flexible work hours, or managerial/supervisory positions
・Flexible work hours
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)

・Supervisors
Based on the working hours of the employee’s department, with the decision left to the employee

■ Holidays and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are working days) Annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), childcare and nursing care leave systems, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which the employee belongs)
