The R&D Department is a team of experts who bring our "LifeWear" concept to life through actual products. We are seeking new members to further evolve the creation of clothing that embodies this "LifeWear" philosophy.

■Department Overview:
The R&D department you will join is a team of specialists who bring the LifeWear concept to life through actual products. In-house designers and patternmakers work across our six global hubs centered in Tokyo (Tokyo/Shanghai/Paris/London/NY/LA).Our mission is to plan products that match people's living environments, lifestyles, and the times, translating practical design needs into the "LifeWear" concept. We aim to continuously provide thoughtfully simple clothing that improves and enriches the lives of people worldwide. Through clothing, we strive to keep sparking innovation in the world.

■Job Description:
You will be responsible for designing knit items. Specifically, your duties include:
・Creating MAPs (Merchandise Accessory Plans)
・Designing sketches
・Creating specification sheets
・Selection of materials and supplies
・Issuing instructions to partner factories
・Quality control through coordination between Production Department and factories

*The Job Description may change within the scope of duties related to each headquarters department due to department transfers or organizational changes.

■Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・5+ years of experience independently designing knitwear for women's, men's, and kids' products, creating samples, and drafting specifications
・Ability to manage multiple items through the entire process from product planning to design to mass production (including hands-on experience designing, placing orders, and factory production)
・Ability to understand global trends, lifestyles, and needs both domestically and internationally, and translate them into designs for global product development

■Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Must be comfortable communicating in English both internally and externally for business purposes, including emails and daily conversations (e.g., specifications, factory instructions, internal meetings)

■Employment Type: Contract Employee (Fixed-term, with a probationary period (3 months))
(After the second year, if performance and evaluations meet the criteria for regular employee status, conversion to a regular employee is the premise)

※There is no limit on contract renewals (total period or number of renewals).

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: ¥3.5 million - ¥10 million (Monthly Salary: ¥240,000 - ¥570,000)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (Payment and amount determined based on company performance and personnel evaluation)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluation)
*Salary will be determined based on company policy, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, in addition to the above.

■Working Hours
Standard working hours system, flextime system, or managerial/supervisory status (determined based on job duties, expected role, and assigned department; notified during the final interview)

・Standard Working Hours System
8 hours of actual work between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with a 1-hour break

・Flextime System
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours, Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Flexible Time: 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)

・Supervisors
Based on the working hours of the assigned department, determined by the employee

■Holidays & Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays), Annual Paid Leave, Special/Bereavement Leave, Childcare/Family Care Leave System, etc.

※Whether national holidays are also designated as days off in addition to the holidays listed above is specified individually in the contract for temporary employees
*Special leave is granted separately from paid leave during the first and second half of the year (number of days granted varies by employment type and affiliated company)
