Outline of the department
The mission of the "Digital Business Transformation Service Department" is to create results by defining, building, and thoroughly utilizing future-oriented business systems from the customer's perspective, regardless of the boundaries between business and IT, headquarters and field, and real and virtual. We are characterized by our end-to-end approach to the entire process of business and system transformation. While controlling the core aspects of business construction and system development in-house, we also actively collaborate with companies that possess the world's most advanced technologies and promote the introduction of new technologies such as AI. The organization is composed of multinational members with diverse backgrounds, including project managers, engineers, and data scientists, who use their strengths to collaborate across team and department boundaries to achieve the best customer experience and business growth, while placing importance on employee growth.
This team supports the IT systems of our global stores and e-commerce, as well as the overall IT systems of the global headquarters base that support these systems, from Japan, our GHQ. We proactively identify risks associated with business expansion, disaster risks, and changes in laws and regulations in each country, and build an IT governance and operation system that allows customers to enjoy shopping with peace of mind 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, globally. The West Japan location, where this position is located, has an important role in dispersing disaster risks at GHQ by dividing our bases in Japan into Tokyo and Osaka.
■ Job Description
This position is responsible for leading the stable operation of IT systems for all global brands of our group through control of IT systems, operational management, tracking of failure responses, and implementation and operation of operational management tools.

1. IT Service Operation Management
Design and implement management processes (incident management, problem management, release management, IT asset management, etc.) based on ITIL and other frameworks, and manage and improve the operational status of IT services across all systems globally. Qualifications
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities
ITIL Foundation certification and at least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, managing, evaluating, and improving processes related to IT service management, mainly in the area of service operations.
Experience in design, implementation, operation, and improvement of system management tools such as system monitoring and authentication infrastructure
At least 3 years of experience in IT system design, development, operation, and improvement
Experience in any of the following IT systems
- PM for information system development projects
- Information system security
- System infrastructure design and construction using cloud infrastructure such as AWS/GCP
Smooth communication skills in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above)
Able to work positively in a work environment where English is used on a daily basis *No fluency or work experience is required at this time.
