Job Description

■Recruitment Background:
At UNIQLO, guided by our “LifeWear” brand concept, we provide clothing that enriches the daily lives of customers around the world. Among our initiatives, collaboration projects such as Uniqlo U, Uniqlo C, +J, and UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON play a key role in driving UNIQLO’s growth by enhancing brand value and attracting new customer segments. To support our future business expansion and organizational strengthening, we are seeking a new marketing professional capable of leading projects from planning through execution.

■Department Overview:
The Collaboration Team within the Global Marketing Department creates new value for UNIQLO through collaborations with designers and brands around the world. The team handles the entire process—from formulating marketing strategies for the global market to planning and producing campaign assets (such as visuals, copy, videos, and social media content) based on those strategies—all under one roof.We are involved from the initial stages of product development and manage projects on a global scale while working closely with our collaborators. By collaborating with marketing teams in each country and designing strategies that take into account regional market characteristics and customer needs, we play a key role in presenting UNIQLO’s collaborations in an appealing way to customers around the world.

■Job Description:
Based on your skills, experience, and aptitude, you will be expected to perform the following tasks:
・Setting targets and positioning for global markets, and developing communication plans based on these.
・Planning and production of campaign assets (visuals, copy, videos, etc.) based on marketing strategies.
・Planning and executing brand communication initiatives in collaboration with global media partners based on the communication plan, as well as implementing these initiatives with local marketing teams and providing sales promotion support
・Effectively measuring brand and business performance in each country. Based on these results, identifying challenges, formulating hypotheses, and supporting the development and execution of action plans.

・Assuming a management role within the domestic marketing organization (promotion to team leader or department head)
・Overseas assignment as a marketing manager (previous assignments have been made)
・Rotation to other marketing teams, such as those responsible for core products or the Japanese market (leveraging your experience in strategic planning within the collaboration team to contribute to communication strategies in other teams)
・While there is still significant room for growth in competing globally by communicating the value of our products and brands, the development of strategies and systems to achieve this is still in its early stages, making this a challenging environment.

Qualifications

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Candidates must have experience in any of the following:
・Practical experience in product, marketing, or PR at a business corporation, publishing company, advertising agency, or creative agency
・Experience leading projects involving internal and external stakeholders, both domestically and internationally
・Business-level English proficiency
(Guideline: TOEIC score of 700 or higher. Please include your TOEIC score, business English experience, study abroad experience, etc., in your resume and work history.)

■ Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Individuals with a strong interest in apparel, fashion, and culture
・Experience in planning, developing, and supervising content at a production company or similar organization

Work Conditions

■Employment Type: Full-time Employee

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 6.56 million yen – 8.64 million yen (Monthly Salary: 410,000 yen – 540,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.

Flexible work hours or managerial/supervisory position
・Flexible work hours
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM; overtime work may occur

Based on the working hours of the employee’s department; left to the employee’s discretion
