Job Description

■Recruitment Background:
PLST is a brand within the Fast Retailing Group—which also operates UNIQLO and GU—and, under the brand concept of “everyday wear for when you want to look put-together,” offers clothing that brings a sense of “polish” to the various moments of daily life.With a collection of essential wear featuring thoughtful details—such as silhouettes and designs that flatter the wearer and comfortable materials—we are transforming our business model to deliver the value of Fast Retailing’s “LifeWear” concept to customers around the world.
We are seeking a Web Design Assistant to help convey the care and thought behind each product—created in line with our brand concept—to customers through digital content, and to work with us to advance our e-commerce business as a core operation.

■ Department Overview:
The Digital Commerce Team, to which you will be assigned, is driving the shift toward e-commerce as our core business. We contribute to the company’s success by operating an e-commerce site that enables customers to “buy the clothes they truly want, right when they want them.”The team handles all aspects of the e-commerce business—including business planning, development, photography, and design. While making the most of the Fast Retailing Group’s platforms, the team’s mission is to create content such as branding materials and feature pages, design the user experience for the e-commerce site and app, and deliver LifeWear to customers through the world’s best e-commerce storefront.

■Job Description:
You will be responsible for creative work related to the production of various digital content and the design of e-commerce storefronts.
You will be involved in e-commerce site operations based on business strategy and user experience, as well as content creation in collaboration with other teams.
Specifically, depending on your experience, you will be expected to perform the following tasks:

・Creative production and updates for the PLST e-commerce site (creation of special feature pages such as sales promotions, and creation of various banners)
・Production and updates of graphics for in-store promotional materials
・Supporting user experience design based on data analysis
・Production of assets such as icons and illustrations
・Collaboration with related departments and preparation of design proposal materials

*The Job Description is subject to change within the scope of duties related to each department at headquarters due to department transfers or organizational changes.

■ Career Path
・While focusing on creative production in digital areas such as e-commerce and web, you may also be involved in overall marketing creative development by supporting the production of in-store promotional materials and leaflets.
・You may also be asked to support planning and proposal work related to UI/UX improvements for e-commerce sites and apps in collaboration with the IT department’s e-commerce team.

Qualifications

■Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・At least one year of experience designing websites (for smartphones and PCs)
・Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (enough to read and understand HTML and CSS source code)
・Experience using Adobe design tools, Figma, or similar tools

■Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Knowledge of project management tools and practical experience using them
・Knowledge of UX design, usability design, and web accessibility
・Design experience with large-scale websites or campaign sites
・Knowledge and experience in data-driven marketing
・Experience in web direction or art direction

Work Conditions

■Employment Type: Contract Employee

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 3.5–5.0 million yen (Monthly Salary: 24,000–30,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.

■ Working Hours
Standard Working Hours System
8 hours of actual work and 1-hour break between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
*Start times between 7:00 and 9:00 are negotiable

■ Days Off and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays); annual paid leave; special and bereavement leave; childcare and family care leave systems, etc.
*In addition to paid annual leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which you belong)
