Job Description

■Recruitment Background:
PLST is a brand within the Fast Retailing Group, which operates UNIQLO and GU. With the brand concept of “everyday clothes for when you want to look your best,” we offer clothing that helps you look your best in a variety of daily situations. We are seeking a Web Designer who can help realize Fast Retailing’s “LifeWear” concept through digital channels and lead the expansion of our e-commerce business.

■Department Overview:
Our mission is to contribute to the business through the PLST e-commerce site, and we handle all aspects of the e-commerce business, including business planning, development, photography, and design. Specifically, our mission is to maximize the use of Fast Retailing’s platform to create content such as branding materials and feature pages, design the user experience for the e-commerce site and app, and provide the world’s best e-commerce storefront to convey the essence of LifeWear to our customers.

■Job Description:
This position involves creative work related to the production of various digital content and the design of e-commerce retail spaces. You will propose designs based on business strategy and user experience, and collaborate with the team to create content that conveys the brand’s appeal.

Specifically, depending on your experience, you will be expected to perform the following tasks:
・Creative production and updates for the PLST e-commerce site
・Production of call-to-action banners and graphics for content updates
・Proposing UI/UX improvements based on A/B test results
・Supporting user experience design based on data analysis
・Production of assets such as icons and illustrations
・Production and improvement of feature sites and microsites
・Collaboration with related departments and creation of design proposal materials
・Coordination with external partners on production and assistance with design supervision
*The Job Description may change depending on department transfers or organizational restructuring, within the scope of duties relevant to each department within the headquarters.

■ Career Path:
・While focusing on creative production in digital domains such as e-commerce and web, you will also have opportunities to contribute to overall marketing creative development through support for the creation of in-store promotional materials and leaflets.
・You may also be asked to support planning and proposal activities related to UI/UX improvements for e-commerce sites and apps in collaboration with the IT department’s e-commerce team.

Qualifications

■Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・At least 3 years of experience designing websites (for both smartphones and PCs)
・Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (ability to read and understand HTML and CSS source code)
・Experience using Adobe design tools, Figma, or similar tools

■Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Knowledge of project management tools and practical experience using them
・Knowledge of UX design, usability design, and web accessibility
・Design experience with large-scale websites or campaign sites
・Knowledge and experience in data-driven marketing
・Experience in web direction or art direction

Work Conditions

■Company Name: PLST Co., Ltd.
■Employment Type: Contract Employee
*Employment contracts may be renewed based on the company’s operational needs and the employee’s performance (no automatic renewal).
*There is no limit on the total duration or number of contract renewals.

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 3.64–4.71 million yen (Monthly Salary: 240,000–310,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, not limited to the figures above

■ Working Hours
Daily working hours: An 8-hour workday is set within the working hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
(9-hour shift, including a 1-hour break)

■Holidays and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays), annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), and childcare/caregiving leave systems, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which you belong)
