Job Description

For this position, we are seeking a VMD Stylist at our global headquarters to communicate the "LifeWear" concept through store spaces. You will plan and develop styling and display methods tailored to each store's individuality and regional characteristics. By maximizing the appeal of products through a creative perspective, you will help further evolve the shopping experience.

■Department Overview:
The Global IMD Department VMD Team, where you will be assigned, is responsible for visual merchandising across all UNIQLO stores worldwide. By refining spatial design and product display techniques, we create stores that are "easy to see, easy to choose, and easy to buy" for customers, achieving both compelling product presentation and maximized sales.Beyond designing concepts for approximately 2,500 global stores, our global headquarters responsibilities extend to planning special events at flagship stores and conducting VMD training domestically and internationally. We communicate the "LifeWear" philosophy worldwide through store spaces.

■Job Description:
As a candidate for VMD Stylist Manager at our global headquarters, you will lead the planning, creation, and execution of VMD strategies that maximize the appeal of our brand and products, collaborating closely with MD, R&D, Marketing, and Sales teams. For styling development across UNIQLO stores worldwide, you will generate ideas, provide direction to team members, and elevate in-store styling to the highest global standards through follow-up and feedback.

Examples of responsibilities include:
・Styling Development: Develop styling that balances the "LifeWear" concept with fashion trends and create styling guidelines
・VMD Planning: Formulate comprehensive seasonal VMD plans in coordination with the Sales Department responsible for store operations, in addition to the stakeholders mentioned above
・VMD Training: Planning and executing VMD training domestically and internationally, providing guidance and support to regional organizations and stores
・Flagship Store Initiatives: Planning in-store initiatives, sales floor layouts, and styling for global flagship stores
・Member Development through Work Assignments

・The Job Description may change within the scope of tasks related to various headquarters departments due to department transfers or organizational changes.

Qualifications

■Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Deep understanding of lifestyle trends and fashion in global markets
・Practical experience as a VMD stylist in the apparel industry
・Experience guiding store staff and supervisors on styling and displays
・Exceptional creativity in styling and VMD development, coupled with leadership to take on practical roles
・Ability to articulate and present one's own concepts and deliverables, organizing key points clearly

■Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Experience in product planning roles such as MD or designer
・Experience using English in a professional setting (including overseas assignments)
・Practical experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Work Conditions

Full-time Employee (Indefinite term, with a 3-month probationary period)

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: ¥8,000,000 - ¥16,200,000 (Monthly Salary: ¥500,000 - ¥900,000)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (Payment and amount determined based on company performance and personnel evaluation)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluation)
*Determined based on company regulations, taking into account previous annual income and experience, not limited to the above

■Working Hours
・Either standard working hours or flextime system (determined based on job duties, expected role, and assigned department; notified during the final interview)
・Standard Working Hours System
8 hours of actual work within 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a 1-hour break
・Flextime System
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours, Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Flexible Time: 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)

■Holidays & Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are workdays) Annual paid leave, special/bereavement leave, childcare/nursing care leave systems, etc.
