■ Department Overview:.
The VMD team in the Global IMD Department is responsible for visual merchandising at UNIQLO stores worldwide. The team is responsible for creating stores that are "easy to see, easy to choose, and easy to buy" for customers by designing the space and displaying products in a way that both attractively represents UNIQLO products and maximizes sales. In addition to conceptualizing and designing approximately 2,500 stores worldwide, the Global Head Quarter is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including planning special events at flagship stores and providing VMD training in Japan and overseas, and communicating the "LifeWear" philosophy to the world through store spaces.
■ Job Description.
As a candidate for the position of VMD Stylist Manager at the global headquarters, you will lead the planning, creation, and execution of VMD to maximize the appeal of the brand and products in collaboration with MD, R&D, Marketing, and Sales. In the development of styling for UNIQLO stores around the world, you will generate ideas and provide direction to each team member, and through follow-up and feedback, raise the level of in-store styling to the world's highest standard.
An example of our work is as follows
Styling development: Develop styling and create guidelines that balance the "LifeWear" concept and fashion trends.
VMD plan development: In addition to the above, create a VMD plan for the entire season in conjunction with the sales department responsible for store operations.
VMD training: Planning and execution of VMD training in Japan and overseas, as well as guidance and support for organizations and stores in each country
Flagship store initiatives: Planning of in-store initiatives, sales areas, and styling for global flagship stores.
