For this position, we are seeking a VMD Stylist at our global headquarters to communicate the "LifeWear" concept through the store environment. You will plan and develop styling and display methods tailored to each store’s unique character and regional characteristics, and by maximizing the appeal of our products through a creative lens, you will help further evolve the shopping experience.
■ Department Overview:
The Global IMD Department VMD Team, to which you will be assigned, is responsible for visual merchandising at UNIQLO stores worldwide. By utilizing spatial design and innovative product displays to create stores that are “easy to see, easy to choose, and easy to buy” for customers, we achieve both the attractive presentation of our products and the maximization of sales.As the global headquarters, our responsibilities are wide-ranging—from conceptual design for approximately 2,500 stores worldwide to planning special events at flagship stores and conducting VMD training both domestically and internationally—all while communicating the "LifeWear" philosophy to the world through our store spaces.
■Job Description:
As a candidate for VMD Stylist Manager at our global headquarters, you will lead the planning, creation, and execution of VMD initiatives that maximize the appeal of our brand and products, collaborating closely with MD, R&D, Marketing, and Sales teams. In developing styling for UNIQLO stores worldwide, you will generate ideas, provide direction to team members, and elevate in-store styling to the highest global standards through follow-up and feedback.
Examples of your responsibilities include:
・Styling Development: Developing styling concepts that balance the "LifeWear" concept with fashion trends, and creating guidelines
・VMD Planning: Formulating comprehensive seasonal VMD plans in collaboration with the Sales Department, which oversees store operations, in addition to the stakeholders mentioned above
・VMD Training: Planning and executing VMD training domestically and internationally, as well as providing guidance and support to regional organizations and stores
・Flagship Store Initiatives: Planning in-store initiatives, sales floor layouts, and styling for global flagship stores
・Developing team members through on-the-job training
・The Job Description may change within the scope of duties related to various headquarters departments due to department transfers or organizational changes.

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 8 million yen – 16.2 million yen (Monthly Salary: 500,000 yen – 900,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluation)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
