Job Description
■Recruitment Background
We view our social contribution initiatives as a key pillar alongside Fast Retailing’s core business. We are seeking to fill this position to strengthen the operations of our foundation, which aims to address social issues through unique approaches and contribute to building a society where people can live independently, respect one another, and lead fulfilling lives.
■Department Overview
The foundation you will manage primarily engages in social contribution activities in the following three areas. Your mission is to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the foundation, as well as to plan and execute future initiatives.
・Support for Self-Reliance: We provide educational opportunities to those who, despite their best efforts, find it difficult to carve out a future for themselves, and support their path to self-reliance.
・Leadership Development: We cultivate leaders who can solve problems from a global perspective and drive growth in Japan and around the world.
・Promoting Mutual Understanding: We aim to build a society where diverse people can understand one another and live together in harmony
■ Scope of Activities
・This role involves advancing the Foundation’s activities—centered on scholarship programs for Japanese high school students attending universities in the U.S. and U.K., and for Vietnamese, Indonesian, and other international high school students attending universities in Japan—as well as initiatives such as refugee support and international cultural understanding, in accordance with policies decided by the Board of Directors.
・In accordance with legal compliance and overall governance, you will be responsible for the steady execution of operations while liaising with the Cabinet Office, project partners, beneficiaries, board members, relevant departments, and other stakeholders
・You will also be expected to plan and execute initiatives that contribute to society beyond the foundation’s current operations
・The Job Description may change within the scope of duties related to various headquarters departments due to departmental transfers or organizational changes
■ Career Path
After gaining experience in the foundation’s operations—beyond just program planning and implementation—you may eventually be considered for the role of Executive Director.

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
<Work Experience> Experience in any of the following:
・Experience in the management of foundations, non-profit organizations, or similar entities
・Experience managing business income and expenses, such as in accounting, finance, auditing, or strategic planning
<Personal Qualities>
・Someone who can drive the development of the foundation’s overall operations with a clear vision
・Individuals committed to improving society through their activities
・Suitability for handling business information, personal information, and other sensitive data
<Skills>
・Business-level English (reading, writing, and oral communication), native-level Japanese
<Work Experience> Experience in any of the following:
・Experience in the management of foundations, non-profit organizations, or similar entities
・Experience managing business income and expenses, such as in accounting, finance, auditing, or strategic planning
<Personal Qualities>

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 7.5 million to 14 million yen (Monthly Salary: 470,000 to 700,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluation)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, in addition to the above.

Flexible work hours, or managerial/supervisory positions
・Flexible work hours
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)

Based on the working hours of the employee’s department, with the decision left to the employee
■ Holidays and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are working days) Annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), childcare and nursing care leave systems, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which the employee belongs)
