As a Production MD, you will lead the end-to-end product development process across the entire production spectrum—from product planning and development through mass production and store rollout to product improvements based on customer feedback.Your mission is to work closely with MD, R&D, Quality Control, and partner factories to achieve high-quality products at the right cost and on schedule, while pursuing the optimal balance between product value, quality, cost, and delivery times. Specifically, you will be responsible for managing progress from planning through sample completion; managing the quality, cost, and delivery times of mass-produced items; sourcing and negotiating with factories; formulating production plans and managing orders; and adjusting production based on sales trends.Career Path
As a Production MD, we expect you to gain experience in your assigned area and, in the future, take on a leadership role in guiding the PLST Production Department.Qualifications
Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
- At least 5 years of experience in OEM/ODM production sales for apparel at a general trading company or a specialized trading company
- Experience in structurally analyzing challenges based on on-site observations, actual products, and real-world conditions, and driving improvements
- A strong commitment to product and manufacturing quality, and the ability to drive projects forward by engaging all stakeholders
- Ability to communicate smoothly with internal and external stakeholders and deliver results as part of a team
- Language proficiency sufficient to handle business emails in English (TOEIC score of 700 or higher is preferred)
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience collaborating with overseas fabric and garment manufacturing factories, including involvement in fabric development and factory sourcing
- Experience in product development utilizing specialized knowledge of materials, sewing, and manufacturing processes
- Experience in on-site production management, such as through overseas assignments or long-term business trips abroad

Annual Salary
- Annual Salary Range: 8.64–13.50 million yen (Monthly Salary: 540,000–750,000 yen)
- Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
- Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
- Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
