Job Description

Recruitment Background
Fast Retailing is aiming to become the world's number one apparel group by transforming itself beyond the framework of a retailer into a new type of "Digital Consumer Retail Company".
UNIQLO operates in 26 countries, and our customers' needs for retail payments are becoming increasingly diverse. In order to manage and control these payments on a global scale and meet the needs of our customers while ensuring safety and security, we are now looking for new members to join our team.

■Department Overview
This team is in charge of the payment function for stores and e-commerce in the head quarter of the finance function. Specifically, the team will plan and provide new purchasing experiences and expand the accompanying payment methods. The team is also responsible for strengthening payment governance for global countries and serving as a point of contact for negotiations with credit card companies.

Business Description
Planning and launching new payment services to improve the customer's purchasing experience
Negotiate with credit card companies to optimize settlement costs
Negotiate with credit card companies, etc. to optimize payment costs ・Reinforce security together with the staff in charge in each country to minimize payment fraud (fraudulent use)
In order to promote these activities, knowledge of retail payments in each country, understanding of trends and foresight, negotiations with local payment companies, and cooperation with CEOs and CFOs of group brands in each country are required.

■Career Path
The team you will be assigned to is the Global Finance Services Treasury Team. After joining the company, your career path may expand to include related functions such as corporate planning, accounting, taxation, investor relations, and purchasing management, along with your career path of developing your expertise as a finance specialist. As the company is closely related to e-commerce and IT, you may also have the opportunity to be involved in the development of the payments function.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of payments in Japan or overseas, and at least 3 years of experience in payments operations.

■Experience, skills, and abilities that are welcome
Experience in the financial industry (credit card companies, retail departments of commercial banks), business corporations, or consulting firms in the field of payments
Expertise in Fintech and e-commerce
Experience in leading new business as a project manager

■Language skills
English proficiency for business use (TOEIC 700 or above as a guide) required
However, as there will be opportunities to communicate with people overseas, you will be required to continue your studies after joining the company.

Annual salary
Annual salary range: 860-13.7 million yen (monthly salary: 540,000-670,000 yen)
Regional allowance, commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with our company's regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's business performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
