Job Description
■Recruitment Background
Fast Retailing aims to transcend the traditional retail framework and transform into a “Digital Consumer Retail Company,” with the goal of becoming the world’s leading apparel group.
UNIQLO, a subsidiary of Fast Retailing, now operates in 26 countries, and customer payment needs (retail payments) are becoming increasingly diverse. To manage and oversee these payments globally while ensuring security and reliability and meeting customer needs, we are now recruiting new team members to join us.
■ Department Overview
This team, based within the headquarters’ finance function, oversees payment operations for stores and e-commerce. Specifically, we plan and deliver new shopping experiences and expand the range of associated payment methods. We also strengthen payment governance across our global operations and serve as the primary point of contact for negotiations with credit card companies.
■Job Description
・Conceiving payment services that enhance the customer shopping experience and launching new services
・Negotiating with credit card companies and other parties to optimize payment costs
・Implementing security enhancements in collaboration with country-level representatives to minimize payment fraud (unauthorized use)
To drive these initiatives forward, you will need knowledge of retail payments in each country, an understanding of industry trends and foresight, the ability to negotiate with local payment providers, and the capacity to collaborate with the CEOs and CFOs of our group brands in each country.

Qualifications
■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Knowledge of payment systems in either Japan or another country, and at least 3 years of work experience in payment-related operations
■ Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Experience with payments in the financial industry (credit card companies or the retail division of commercial banks), at a corporate entity, or at a consulting firm
・Expertise in fintech or e-commerce
・Experience leading new business initiatives as a project manager
■Language Skills
Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC score of 700 or higher is a guideline) is required
*We welcome applicants who do not yet meet the English proficiency requirement at the time of hire; however, as there will be opportunities to communicate with overseas counterparts, ongoing language study will be required after joining the company.

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 8–13.5 million yen (Monthly Salary: 500,000–750,000 yen)
・Allowances: Regional allowance, commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.

・Flexible work schedule
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
