Job Description

■Recruitment Background:
The Fast Retailing Group is advancing the "mainstreaming of e-commerce" as a cornerstone of our retail transformation efforts, aiming to provide customers with a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience anytime, anywhere. As we strive to become the No. 1 brand most loved by customers worldwide, the growth of our e-commerce business is essential. The Global Digital Commerce Department, which is responsible for driving our global e-commerce business, is spearheading initiatives such as e-commerce business transformation, rollout to overseas markets, and business development that bridges physical stores and e-commerce.

■Department Overview:
The mission of the Global EC Management Strategy Team, to which you will be assigned, is to identify challenges in the Group’s global e-commerce business, develop and implement action plans to address them, and drive transformations centered on e-commerce to realize a “Global One” and “All-Employee Management” approach where every action leads to customer satisfaction.
Based on this mission, the team performs the following functions and roles:
(1) Management Control: Formulation of group-wide global budgets, budget vs. actual management, and KPI monitoring
(2) Identification and Resolution of Management Issues: Identifying cross-functional issues across business planning/merchandising, inventory, production, logistics, marketing, IT, and other areas; formulating and executing solutions
(3) Data: Providing data analysis and reporting necessary for identifying business challenges
(4) Executive Development: Planning and executing talent development initiatives to strengthen the Group’s global e-commerce management structure
(5) IT Strategy and Planning: Formulation and execution of e-commerce platform product strategies with a focus on business growth

■Job Description:
For this position, we are seeking a candidate for the (5) IT Strategy role to lead the planning and execution of product strategies for our e-commerce platform. Your specific role will be determined during the selection process based on your preferences and suitability.

・You will lead the development of business plans for digital solutions—such as the mobile apps and online stores for UNIQLO and GU, as well as the backend business systems supporting these online stores—and the launch of IT products required for new services. You will also lead the formulation of necessary metrics and KPIs, as well as the UI/UX design and feature development of these products.
・Specifically, the following responsibilities are anticipated:
 ・Maximizing app user numbers and purchase volumes through customer experience design both in-store and online
 ・Maximizing the number of online store users and purchases
 ・Designing user experiences based on data analysis and user interviews
 ・Enhancing the usability of existing products and implementing growth hacking strategies
 ・Expanding value proposition through the introduction of new services and features
 ・Requirement gathering, definition, and screen design for product development

Qualifications

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Experience with large-scale B2C IT products, including:
 - Experience directing projects from service planning through to launch
 - Experience directing development teams
 - Experience collaborating with numerous stakeholders
・TOEIC score of 700 or higher, or equivalent English proficiency
 *Please include your TOEIC score, business English experience, study abroad experience, etc.

■ Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・UX design based on customer journey mapping
・Experience using mockup tools (Figma, Sketch, InVision, Prott, etc.)
・Experience in online/offline marketing
・Experience leading cross-departmental projects
・Business planning experience
・Strong communication skills with executive leadership
・Experience participating in global rollouts
・Experience in in-house development

Work Conditions

■Company Name: Fast Retailing Co., Ltd.
■Employment Type: Full-time Employee
■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 8.64–15.00 million yen (Monthly Salary: 540,000–830,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.

Flexible work hours, or managerial/supervisory positions
・Flexible work hours
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)

Based on the working hours of the employee’s department, with the decision left to the employee

Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are working days) Annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), childcare and nursing care leave systems, etc.
