Job Description

■Recruitment Background
GU is the second brand of the Fast Retailing Group. Guided by the brand message "YOUR FREEDOM: The freedom to reinvent yourself," we operate with the purpose of energizing everyone through the power of fashion. We aim to become a globally supported and beloved fashion brand alongside UNIQLO by offering trend-conscious, practical products at affordable prices while prioritizing sustainability.
By delivering global master trends with Japanese quality at affordable prices, GU is gaining acceptance as a beloved brand worldwide. To realize its vision of becoming the world's No. 1 fashion brand, GU is accelerating store openings both domestically and internationally while driving comprehensive transformation. This includes establishing a new Merchandising Headquarters in New York in September 2023, a key hub for product development, and opening a flagship store in New York's SoHo district in October 2024.We are seeking individuals who can contribute to our business growth through new store launches, global business support, and driving store transformation.

■Department Overview
The Global Store Operations Transformation Department serves as a bridge between stores—the source of customer satisfaction and sales—and headquarters. Its mission is to provide comfortable and convenient customer experiences that delight shoppers while creating an environment where store managers and sales associates can focus on business. It drives transformations across all operations in stores worldwide.
The department has three core functions: "Operational Transformation," "New Store Development," and "Business Support."

(1) Business Transformation
To achieve highly efficient store management and enhanced customer experiences through the use of technology, such as RFID and self-checkout systems, we collaborate with various departments, including IT, to promote the introduction of new systems to stores and the digitization of operations.

(2) New Store Area
We treat each new store opening as a business launch. Collaborating with store managers, area managers, and headquarters departments, we drive opportunity development and problem-solving to ensure the success of this business launch. We create winning patterns by formulating store concepts and marketing strategies, executing sales plans, and conducting analysis.

(3) Business Support
We identify operational challenges across stores in various countries. Collaborating with headquarters departments, we drive transformations in work practices and operational workflows, and facilitate their horizontal deployment globally to enable all stores to achieve high-efficiency operations with a lean, elite team.

■Job Description
